Shipping options:
Since your choice of shipping determines the total speed of turn-around and the care/handling your lamp house receives, we recommend using UPS or FEDEX 1, 2, or 3 day Air. The reason being that packages are routed through fewer hands, and not treated as an anonymous brown box in a large sorting and distribution center. We have daily service of both UPS and FEDEX. (You decide who and how.)
Use your own account — one way or both ways
Many companies want to use their own account for tracking or other internal purposes. We are absolutely fine with that. Using your account both ways will involve giving us your account information for the return shipment.
Our account for return
The simplest, fastest, and most efficient method is to ship to us, and let us ship and bill back. If you need other shipping arrangements, or are not sure what to do — CALL.
INSURANCE
We highly recommend insuring your outbound packages for the replacement cost of the lamphouse. If not the lamphouse, then the reflector, starting at $2,500. The glass reflector in the lamphouse is as costly to replace as the lamp — and does not even cover the cost of a new lamphouse from the factory if destroyed. (You decide.) ECS policy is to return ship with declared insurance.
Packing and Packaging
To ensure the safe arrival of your lamp house, we recommend the original factory double box (inner box isolated in an outer box). IF you do not have them, we can supply you with a shipper approved custom cut box as a service. Why? Both UPS and FEDEX deny liability for improperly packaged goods — no matter if insured. ECS went to great lengths to get an independent packaging company to custom design and manufacture shipping cartons that meet all specifications and approvals. (We know from experience, because it was our claims that were denied) Remember–Always ship lamphouse vertically. Use foam or bubblewrap, never peanuts.

There are 3 methods of payment. (We request a corporate Credit Card on file in order to guarantee all transactions.)
Credit card (add 3% to transaction)

SUMMARY — Simplified shipping process explanation
You ship and insure your old lamp module to us in proper packaging. ECS relamps, refocuses, adjusts, and resets the timer on your lamp house. ECS ships, with insurance, back to you, with bill included. In most cases we do this in 24 hours.

Many times there are special needs and/or emergencies. We have handled them all. We have performed all of the following;

Special services — In a hurry? Emergency? Whoops?
Advanced replacement — ECS ships you an already relamped lamp house. You swap the new unit with old, repackage the lamp house in the box just received, and send back to us. The lamp house and reflector you send back must meet specification for reuse.
